Yogasanas have an important role in the development of the physical, mental and spiritual personality, whereas other exercises only have a physical effect on the muscles and bones. Asanas are neither designed for developing or growing huge unnecessary muscles. Most of the people link Asanas with gymnastic exercises or bodybuilding techniques.
